Andalucía weekend weather forecast March 27-30: Mostly sunny, but watch out for coastal winds

After weeks of unsettled weather, Andalucía is finally in for a better few days. Expect plenty of sunshine, mild temperatures, and a welcome break from the recent storms. There will however, still be some breezy conditions, especially down by the Strait of Gibraltar, where the wind could pick up as we head into the weekend.

The day will start off mostly clear, though some clouds may develop later, particularly inland around Granada and Jaén. There’s a chance of occasional showers, more likely in the east. Along the Mediterranean coast, including Málaga and Almería, winds will remain light for most of the day, with occasional stronger gusts later on.

Friday, March 28

A lovely, settled day with plenty of sunshine across the region. Temperatures will remain steady or increase slightly, particularly in Seville and Córdoba. There will be light variable winds, shifting to an easterly direction by the end of the day.

Saturday, March 29

Another bright and sunny day, though temperatures might dip slightly along the Mediterranean coast, especially from Nerja to Motril. Light to moderate easterly winds, with the possibility of strong gusts later in the day particularly in the Strait of Gibraltar.

Sunday, March 30

A sunny and pleasant end to the weekend for most, with light to moderate breezes inland. However, there will be stronger gusts along the coastline such as near Cádiz or Tarifa. Elsewhere, it’ll be another mild, bright day to round off the weekend.

All in all, a decent few days ahead - plenty of sunshine, stable temperatures, and no major weather surprises. Just keep an eye on the wind if you’re heading to the coast. Other than that, it’s looking like a great weekend to get out and enjoy the start of spring!
