It's getting hot again for August: Murcia weekend weather forecast July 31-August 3

Murcia welcomes the month of August with a spike in temperatures

Temperatures are set to rise in Murcia over the course of this weekend, according to the weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), which specifies that it will get up to 36ºC again in parts of central Murcia by Sunday, and up to 37-38ºC next week!

This Thursday July 31 is a very settled day in the Region of Murcia, with clear skies and a gentle breeze blowing, which could get up to 25kmh along the coast in the afternoon.

On Friday August 1, there are storms forecast in the far northwestern sierra of Murcia, while the rest of the Region will be slightly cloudier. Even so, temperatures – both minimums and maximums – will begin to creep up slowly.

It is back to clear skies and sunny weather for all on Saturday 2 and Sunday 3, with temperatures continuing to rise over the course of the weekend, so that minimums at night-time will be 18-20ºC in the north and 22-24ºC in the south, while maximums at the height of the day will reach up to 31-34ºC on the coast and 35-36ºC inland.

Looking ahead to the start of next week, these dry and sunny conditions are forecast to continue, and temperatures will keep going up by a couple of degrees.
